How long does this water actually keep you warm? Isn't the effect even more chilling as the warm water is replaced with the cold?

Actually it is NOT the water that keeps you warm in (semi) wetsuits....

Jiveturkey,

I do not get much water exchange at all. The neck, wrist and ankle seals are just like Drysuit seals. So it's time to surface before I feel any cold.

I mostly used the warm water to take the chill off for the second dive. Just got into the habit of doing it every time.

Enjoy the ride
