when I was a kid in California, I HAD to go, at that time there were no beach restrooms or portacans, it might have been the freakishly cold water but I had a really difficult time relaxing the required muscles and only when I got somewhat numb did it become possible. I was horrified that it floated up behind me in a wave, I learned to walk on water that day.

In Bonaire one day I was using up the last 1200# of air on a boat dive in about 40 ft at the bottom of the mooring, and I happen to notice a dude swimming as fast as he can to the front of the boat on the surface he does what looks like a kick turn on a non-existent wall drops his shorts and Warhammer. ruined the whole ocean,,,, I had to surface as far as possible up current.
