I haven't Christi on the board in a while unless I've just been missing her. I was just trying to get some updates on the islands conditions. Have "any" major hotels reopened? Are tourists coming back in full swing? Do you have any pics??? etc.. Christi, don't leave us in the dark give us some updates.

She posted a link to the Washington Post just the other day talking about the successful reconstruction efforts in Cancun and Coz.

Do a search on her name. She's been here.

Christi is fine, we had dinner with her and Mago last Thursday. She has a lot of things to take care of after her vacation. She is around and doing well last time I saw her.

The day after Thanksgiving, I left for my long awaited vacation that had been planned over a year and a half ago and paid for since February. I got delayed in Houston for two nights on the way back due to the flight situation...still ended up having to come back through Cancun and got back last Wednesday night pretty late. Since then, I have been taking care of business and trying to get things somewhat back to normal and catching up on e-mails!

I spent Sunday and Monday cleaning mold and scrubbing the floors of my office with a toothbrush and clorox...I really think I got it all Today I had to go to Cancun for official business and it was an all day affair...so here I am I'm planning to start working out of my REAL office again on Friday. The internet and phone came back yesterday as well!

Robby, the island is remarkable...I just can't believe it. FEMA could definitely take some lessons from this place! I haven't dove since I got back from my trip, but plan to this weekend. I did dive the week of Thanksgiving and visibility was alittle down but the diving was still great! Pedro reports that visibility is back to 70 or 80 feet in most places...more in other places.

I did have some divers this past week so maybe they will chime in and let you know their thoughts on the diving. They had some pretty exciting sightings from what I understand

Hey Christi, glad to hear from ya. I hope you had a relaxing trip God knows you deserve it. I'm glad to hear the viz is coming back. I really want to come back down but I have a honeymoon trip to Turks and Caicos in May, but I plan on coming back to Coz around June. Trust me when I do come down I'll be booking with you I really admire the way you took those people in during Wilma enough can't be said about that.
