I'll be in Birminham tomorrow. Any good stores I should visit and see what kind of new toys I need to buy?

I think I'll be up on the north end of town, so Bluewater is kinda out of the way. I've been to DiveSite in Hoover before also.

Anything up near Gardendale and Centerpoint?
(URL's to their web pages are always nice).

Thanks. Mike

Stop in at Fun Divers (formerly RNR), they are at 1901 Center Point Parkway and tell them that Zach Gerber sent you in. They are still getting moved in so the store is still a little disorganized. The new building was a restaurant and as of Monday it didn’t have a sign yet but you can not miss the green and yellow building across from McDonalds. If you can’t find them call 205.854.3483 and they will tell you exactly how to find them.

While there ask to see some of the custom dive gear that JP makes. He is one of the owners and is likely to be in the shop when you stop in.

Cool. They have a website?

http://www.rnrdive.com/ This is their old site with their old name and their old address on it. They got most of it built then changed their name and address, now they have to start over again.

Weal, the change was well overdue. RNR was the first initials of the original 3 owners and since then the cast has changed it just made since to change the name when they moved. They were in a strip mall that had a “novelty shop,” 2nd hand CD shop, and other businesses that draw a less desirable crowd but now they have their own stand alone building.
