I just don't log dives
Hood, wetsuit, boots, gloves, fins, mask, BCD, regs, computer, bag, slates, weight belt, knife, reel, lights.

I am thinking of taking my spare air tank, but not sure it will be needed, or if it will be a hassle in my checked luggage.
If I leave it I could sell it pretty easy.

Anything else I should take, or will need to buy when I get there?

TIA.

Isn't this a better better question for the shop/shops you will be working for. They should be able to tell you what you will need and what types of gear work best for teaching in their area.
i hope you have employment lined up before you move to Mexico.

Are you thinking of being a scuba instructor using a spare air?

Mexican work visa?

Are you thinking of being a scuba instructor using a spare air?

Seriously, you are trolling threads and a mod?

I thought you guys would enjoy helping, but from the trolling replies, I guess not.

We do not know if you are an Instructor, what gear you have, if you have a work visa, have a job at a dive shop, what your experience is or are you thinking of "Living The Dream."

It it is very tough to answer a question when you do not give us information other than you want to work in Mexico and you have SOME gear.

Sounds more like you are trolling.

Both responses were very helpful, you just haven't realized that yet

I did not realize that asking you to clarify something you wrote yourself in your opening post was trolling. The title of the thread asks what gear you need for instruction, and the list of potential items you supply includes a spare air. How is asking if you consider that an instructional item trolling?

Don't get upset. He is just jealous because he doesn't have one. I am not sure how spare air is constructed but remember you need to remove the valve from any compressed gas tank for air transport.
