What do you wish you could change about your (rec) wreck diving class?

Isn't the cave course more of a basic class while cavern is for more advanced?
Hence, you must have AOW to take the cavern course?

Assuming you mean "wreck", not "cave"..

Both cavern and wreck supposedly qualify for the same level of penetration into the overhead environment:
  • 40m linear distance from surface
  • Light zone only
  • No restrictions (confined passages)
  • Rule of 1/3rds Gas Management
Both courses, supposedly, teach guideline skills, risk management, light signs etc..

There SHOULD be no difference between the courses in respect to syllabus, prerequisites and instructor competence.

There's definitely no difference between a metal or stone overhead... you won't chew your way through either if things go wrong and you're not trained and equipped to deal with it...
