James,
I'm stiiting in the airport in Houston waiting for my red-eye to Bonaire.
A couple years ago I worked with"Tim" on a computer resident dive log.
He was able to import several dive computer logs into his program.
I have Mares computers and he was able to import that format too.
In order to calculate a meaningful SAC rate, or N2 loading, you need to consider more than just a square profile. I believe Tim's software allows for three level (or depths) on each dive. I didn't find this uuseful for the typical Blue Hole "decend to the bottom & spiral up" type of dive though.
You might want to check out what he has done, and maybe leverage some from his work.
I saw he has updated his program but I haven't checked out his latest revision.
You can find more by searching the DIY forum for "Tim's Dive Log"
I would provide links, but I'm writing this on my phone.
