What Do I Need to Put a Yellow R195 Cover on My G260?

Ive seen that this can be done. What tools would I need and what other parts? Also is this something that is easy to do? I dont want to mess up the regulator.

It’s easy to do, I’ll have to dig around for the cover source and washer to look for, will come back and edit if someone doesn’t get it first.

When you say unnecessary do you mean “its unnecessary because I already have a yellow braided hose and yellow mouthpiece on my octo?”

It’s unnecessary even without the hose and mouthpiece but more so with those.

It looks nice and would be highly visible. In case a shark or distressed diver needs to borrow some air hopefully they grab the bright yellow thing instead of the black thing in my mouth. Although sharks fins probably dont work too good to snatch a regulator because they lack a thumb.

Just put a pink mouthpiece on it if you like a "dash" of color.

Regarding tools you’ll need none btw; maybe a plastic flat tip to pull the pin on the side without scratching

Just pull the pin out, unscrew the cover, squeeze the purge button tabs (inside) to remove the button; reverse to install
