Take one from column "A", one form column "B", and one from column "C"!
"A"
Plate- provides rigidity and is the foundation of the system.
or
Softpak- like a plate, only not rigid (flacid is a good description)
or
Hybrid (like the OMS IQ)- has a plate and lots of padding.
"B"
Wing (or air cell)- many variations, including size, number of bladders and whether they are bungeed or not. These provid lift for the system.
"C"
Air supply-a single with or without a STA (Single Tank Adapter), or doubles. May or may not be used with the incredibly low tech and yet highly controversial spreader plate to eliminate the taco effect of having a large wing on a single tank.
You mix and match to your heart's desire... though some may faint at any of a number of your choices. You get to tailor this to your diving needs-NOT THEIRS!!! :tease:
