I'll outbid colliam7 for $51.00, we can share them bill!! Seriously though there is not much use for them other than laughs or splitting them into pony bottles.

I'd keep them doubled up for fun though. And I will buy them and pay for shipping too..
And then taunt colliam7 with them at every chance I can

If you want to dive small doubles, you can borrow my steel 38's...now taunitng colliam....that may be worth it. :)

You can buy new AL-30's for about $90-100 so that puts a cap on the price.

If they are not hydro'd or local shops won't fill them then they're obviously worthless.

However, if they're current and they check out then I would think the easiest way to get rid of them is to split them up and sell them separately to someone looking for a 2nd hand pony/stage bottle.

Best guess for what you´ll get online would be about $30 each given that they look well maintained. Your costs to make them sell-able would involve a hydro (i assume), a couple of new o-rings and new K-valves which will put you out more than double what you can get for them.

I´m thinking that selling them for the scrap aluminium value is going to be the best (maybe only) way to get any money out of them.

R..

I just picturing that manifold with a pair of 6 cf ponies on it......:D

They look like a lot of fun. 50CF covers most of my dives so you can leave them n my doorstep.

I am interested in a single AL30, but probably not one of these; solely due to the age and potential problems with ignorant fill stations. Sad but true.

I have no problems getting my 2 sets filled, even from the "anal" shops. Their stamp date is from 89.
To the OP, if you want to sell me the manifolds and sell of the tanks I'd be interested.

well, I decided to just use em... I took em in for Hydro/vis a few days ago.. I get it done for $25/tank I figure they are unique if anything...
