Thats the problem of telling the same lie over and over. You believe it to be true.

Has nothing to do with what is being talked about, but you are letting emotions get the best of you. (and making PF's day too)

I would hazard a guess that crime on Bonaire vs other Caribbean Islands would be close to the same.

The style of diving (and the scale) that takes place on Bonaire though allows an opportunity for thieves to ply their trade. (Unlike other locations)

Its reality.

Go there.

Understand it

Deal with it.

Pressure the locals to fight it better.

Thanks Jeff! You have answered an often asked, and seldom answered question on these threads, with that link:

The voice of experience. ;)

Funny, I remember him saying he hasn't been? Which is the truth? If he has was he knocked down in the surf? Or fell down the cliff at Tolo (;)) or maybe scared off by the big Tarpon???? Inquiring minds don't give a donut box!

Now we know what you favorite piece of anti theft gear is.:rofl3::rofl3:

I guess you could say, PB, that you make Krispy Cremes for flies. Some are trying to solve the Bonaire crime problem and PB is in the mens room with doughnut boxes. Hey, everyone needs a hobby.

I hate to admit it...but that did make me laugh.

My wife and I have made dive vacations to some really great spots. Bonaire is still our persoanl favorite.

Guess we can go out on a limb and say you are not very objective about Bonaire and their rampant crime problem, huh? :shakehead:

A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

Cleaned up some of the name calling. Please stop. If you are unable to resist that's no problem, in order to save staff time ANY more name calling will result in an immediate thread ban with no additional warnings.

If I may interject and save everyone some time reading the prior 239 posts-

1. Some people say there is a lot of crime there.
2. Some people say there isn't a lot of crime there.
3. You can not force someone to change their opinion on the amount of crime if they don't want to.

If you want to insult each other please take it to PM's so the rest of the folks here won't have to put up with that nonsense.
