What are Panama City water temps in October?

What are typical wetsuits used then (shortie, 3mm full, 5mm full, etc)

Looking at coming down the 2nd weekend in October.

Heh... I'd probably still be wearing a dive skin. Looking at my logbook from last year, Destin temps were in the low 80s/high 70s in early/mid Oct.

End of October, 2004 - I dove PC with a 3mm and reef gloves and was comfy, no hood. I did however get a tad bit chilled at depth when on some of the bridgespans.

Usually stays warm enough for just a bathing suit (skin if you want) all the way through October. Last year we had four heat-eating tropical cyclones through the immediate area, so it cooled off a little by the end of the month.
Dennis was early enough that it shouldn't have any chilling effect, so unless we get anotuer storm in Sept/Oct the absolute max you'll need is a three mil.
Unless you're going deeper than 100' of course.
