great video don. There is no surface voices but I sure can hear you panting under water.lol.
Haha you couldn't hear me yelling at Jerry thru my snorkel on the boat? Yes, panting was my mode while chasing. :D

LOL,I'm going to be doing that in a couple days, I'm going to vid with my dc800. Heading to scubamau right now for some dives, hopefully diverg is on my boat! Have a great day world!:D

Y'all have fun!!!!! Reports from all sources are saying that the trips out of Isla Mujeres/Cancun are very successful this year!

Also, just for future reference - there are flights/whale shark tour packages from Coz to Holbox. It's advertised at $300pp if there are five people (includes RT flight and whale shark tour), but I know first hand that these prices go lower if there are more than five. (They have a larger plane for more than 5 people) Although sticker price seems high at first glance, it's a great deal when you consider the convenience in time savings, and the actual transportation costs and potential expenses of having to stay overnight in Holbox. Depart at 7:30 and back by 3 or 4pm.

Swim Whale Shark Tour, Holbox Enjoy bird watching, flamingos, and nature at its best on Holbox Island Mexico, hotel rooms and air tours now available

Sounds interesting, but a day trip to Isla Mujeres sounds so inviting for anyone who does not want to experience Holbox for a few days - now, before it becomes paved and over run.

We went Saturday out of Isla Mujeres. Had a really great time. Everyone loved it. I'm going to do it again if I get a chance. Seemed surreal watching them glide by the boat. Then to swim with them.... Realllly cool stuff. Everyone should do it if you have a chance.

Well I did the whaleshark trip today and it was a fabulous experience. I do not know whow to do pictures here so here is a link to some pictures.

Nice slide show! :thumb: What did you shoot with? Did you have the flash turned off? Looks like you should have shot 4 times as many pics and maybe kept half, but I know - they do keep moving!

I feared that you loaded the pics too large to use here, but nope - so I am posting a few of yours from its IMG code on Photobucket. Did you reduce them that small or use the PB controls to reduce them? I like to shoot in largest possible and edit in largest, but load on PB or Tinypic.com with 640 wide settings so as to not blow the thread widths here - but yours seem to be 320 wide?

I totally agree! It really is. Wish you'd post details of how you finally did it, maybe a new thread? Since you did it from Coz, then on this Coz forum I think. Be sure to step by step on logistics, i.e. which ferry, how you got to IM, etc.

Dandy,
Getting ready for work...
I'll try to do something tonight otherwise it will have to happen on the weekend. I'll do the step by step process.
Wish I was still there;).

Great. One lady PMed me for advice, thinking of doing Holbox on a one day trip. I discouraged that of course; Holbox is great but not a day trip. I have not done the day trip so would like to see your break down, and use it for reference. Put a link here when you post it ok?

We did the day trip by way of Punta Sam and Isla Mujeras with DiverG and it was incredible! One of our new dive buddies did the Holbox trip the same day and the only real difference was they had him back in Playa at 5:30 instead of 3:30. In other words, either can be done in a day. ;)
