I just got back from a dive with American Diving down on SPI. The trip was set to be at one of the local oil rigs 8 miles out. When we got out to the rig, there were 3 whale sharks swiming around the rig. If you can find the time to make it down there this weekend, I'm thinking there's a still a good chance they'll still be in the area. There has also been reports of them coming up near the jetties. I'll be posting some of the photos on my flickr site this evening.
