Hello.
I am planning to dive FL springs next February. I have 5mm Henderson AquaLock 3/5 Henderson Aqua Lock wested hood. My plan is to get an additional Long sleeve front zip shorty. Was thinking 7mm, but now it sounds too much. What would you say.
Thank you

I wear a 3/2 shorty. A little cool at the start but in a minute or so its just fine.

One thing to remember is that cold is a factor of time. What may seem fine for a quick 20 minute dip once a day will end up woefully insufficient for multiple longer dives per day or even per trip.

On a personal note I wear a 5 mil with a hood for anything in the springs under 45 minutes in duration once a day. If I up my dive times or number of daily dives it's straight to the drysuit.
