Hello all,

I am just looking for a bit of advice. I am going to Caye Caulker in Belize for 7 days on the 28th June. I have been told that the water temperature will be around 84 degF and should take a 3mm shortie or rash vest.

I have decided to go inbetween. Either a 2.5mm scubapro shortie, or the fourth element thermocline shirt and shorts (which suppossedly are the equivilent of 2.5mm neoprene but neutrally buoyant).

Please help me decide which, or any other options are welcome.

Many thanks

Harry

P.s need to order soon so hopefully will hear back from someone :)

I dove Belize in November with both 3mm shorty and shorts + rash guard.
With the rash guard and shorts, I felt chili top side, but in the water I was toasty.
You should have no problem in June with a 3mm.

I wore a full 3mm in December and was fine. I think the DM's were mostly wearing 3mm shorty's. Unless you are doing a lot of dives in a day, a 3mm shorty will probably be ok.
