Hi,

I'm researching underwater welding and I'm wondering if anyone has any particularly interesting stories. I'd really appreciate it.

You might want to try a commercial diving board.

I'm mostly looking for particularly interesting dives or particularly dangerous dives. I'm not really interested in accidents. Thanks for the links.

It's easy to describe: BORING! Depending on where you are you can add cold to it.

Good news, bad news.

Good news, it is much harder to burn yourself welding underwater.

Bad news, it is MUCH easier to electrocute yourself welding underwater.

More bad news, you are always making bubbles of H2 and O2 so there is always a risk of explosion.

Ah yes.

...long string of profanity out the com box.

And then there was that accelerated electrolysis thing with the metal fittings on the helmet, or the metal helmet itself.

Fond memories.
