Just moved to west palm area from Texas. Looking for a dive shop that also specializes in tech diving.

Thanks for the help.

Pura Vida does tech, and has trimix...
The boat Narcosis also does the Hole in the Wall sometimes, and while this is only borderline tech by depth of 145....it is right up there with the most enjoyable deep tech dives.

Thanks. I need to get my gear and tanks in for service so I can start diving.

Short list of tech dives to do off Palm Beach:
  1. Hole in the Wall....depth 145 but nice big current drift to get you in step with local tech sites...and often HUGE marine life!
  2. Wreck of the Ande....AROUND 220 if memory serves...easy tech wreck, but with lots of fishing line.
  3. Outside the Princess Anne, the patch reef system that extends outward from 120 to much deeper....largely unexplored-unmapped for diving.
  4. HydroAtlantic...165ish....easy tech
  5. Skycliffe...only around 225, but often has the strongest currents of any of the tech wrecks, so could be considered harder than the 285 foot deep stuff.
  6. Deep Jupiter ledge....240 to 270
  7. Hopper Barges off Singer Island --around 270
  8. The Wastelands of Mad Max.....huge sections in depth of around 270 from beginning of Singer Island and then North for miles, is a bottom covered and blasted by underwater storms sometimes, with dunes often 10 feet high and higher off the bottom....In the late 90's, we covered miles of this years ago in a search for the body of Andre Smith( Divers Supply Triple Death Tragedy), over 20 dives or so....and found this strange bottom effect....one definitely worth shooting video of...and looking for oasis type life along it.
  9. Off of Boynton, just north of the Inlet ( just....a few feet), at 120 to 125 is a ledge system with small caves.....very interesting, and with the potential of one of those tiny caves being a big cave.....definitely worth doing!!! Lots of area and use of a scooter would be highly desirable.

In case you want to go a little further South, Pompano Dive Center is a fully fledged tech dive center. Not sure if you are CCR or not, but they are CCR friendly. If you need custom Trimix blends, they can accommodate. They also have regular tech charters to local wrecks. You can check their schedule on PompanoDiveCenter.com
