Yes, I did a search... but haven't found any locals to the WPB area who have dived with multiple local operators.

My wife and I will be there the last week in June and we are looking for (probably) Tuesday & Wednesday dives.

We're not really interested in wrecks, we're more into natural reefs. Also, a lower numbers of divers per boat is preferred.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Try Hypnautical Dive Charters, or Scuba Club on Flagler Dr. in WPB.

Hello, try checking out Ocean Quest Scuba, name of the boat is Sandy's Sunday. I am pretty sure that I have dove with all the different operators in WPB, and happened upon Sandy's group when recommended to me by diver's direct. Sandy and her crew are truly top-notched. It is a small group and my wife and I have really enjoyed diving with them. Infact, we won't be diving with any other operator in WPB again. We are treated with a great level of respect, the crew is friendly and professional, I especially like the fact that we are allowed to dive our computers. I would highly recommend them to anyone, we dove with them for several days our last visit, and they make sure to get us on a new site each day, and Sandy asks the divers at the dock what we'd like to see.....and off we go to find what were looking for. Ask to do Juno Ledge and Shark Canyon those are two of my favorites. Check out thier website www.oceanquestscuba.com Also, there is another posting from another diver search under "Sandy's Sunday", it has a good discription of the operation as well. Good Luck My wife and I will be there in May next for Memorial Day weekend.

I'd second Pura Vida. I've also dove with Abernethy.

All the diving off WPB is drift diving, so don't expect to do your own thing or dive your own profile. Both Abernethy and Sandy are excellent operators (I've never used Pura Vida). Sandy's Sunday will do private charters if you arrange it in advance. The best news for you is that you're looking to go on a Tuesday and Wednesday. The weekend trips at that time of year can be pretty hectic (can you say moooo?), but the weekday trips are usually uncrowded and laid-back. Abernethy's used to offer a Wednesday (I think) 3-tank trip with lunch on board included.

I son't think your looking at too crowded of a boat during the middle of the week. I would say Sandys Sunday would be a good choice.

I can't help out on the dive charters because everyone I have dove with down there is either dead, retired, or their boat had sunk. I do highly recommend diving Double Ledges (80-90' deep) and The Breakers reef (3rd window drop ? I think) where you drift over the cable line to the Bahamas. Stay on the west edge of the reef to stay on the ledge. Drift diving is blast. WPB rocks.

I highly recommend Pura Vida! Dean and Shana are very kind folks that run a top notch service! They are very safety oriented. We dove with them in December, and we'll be diving with them again in August. The boat takes a max of 12 divers... but when we went, it was hubby and I, another couple, 2 DMs and the captain on the boat. Small, friendly, quaint group. They make a point to know your name, and help you out in whatever way they can (I de-gear in the water... and they were very accomidating!). The pre-dive breifings are detailed and they even "draw out" (on whiteboard) what you will see down there!

I highly recommend Pura Vida!
