Can anyone suggest a charter for night diving (Friday nite) in West Palm Beach. We'll be there this Friday.

Thanks,

Jack

Ever heard of Jupiter Charters?

We dive with Captain Bob on the Rampage in West Palm Beach. He does night dives and they are great. Check out his web site,www.DiveRAMPAGE.com.

SeaAngel,

Thanks, but the website seems to be down. Would you have the phone number?

The only company even going out during the week was Diving Solutions.

http://www.divingsolutions.com/

We dove 3 days with them and were very impressed. Rampage was right next door and never left the dock any day due to low volume. Im sure its busier now with March break and all.

We were very impressed with Diving Solutions - the only down side was we didn't like the "platform" re-entry system at all. Otherwise - great operation - fantastic boats and great crew. Nice touches aboard - lots of snacks, fresh fruit and all sorts of soft drinks - all included. They do night dives on Fridays.

Thanks everyone. We ended up booking with Coral Island Charters. They could guarantee a night dive and worked around our schedule.

Here is Captain Bob's ph. number. 1-800-525-0876. I haven't tried to get on his web site lately. Have a great time with whom ever you dive with.

The platform re-entry is common for those boats. It really is easier in the type of swells that they drift dive in. Personnally though I much prefer a good wide ladder. Belly Board platforms are rough on the knees and require a bit of strength to pull up onto. I have learned to use the wave action to assist and it makes it a bit better.

Wendy, they need to re-do their t-shirts, I got that site off it. Do you know if they changed it or if it was a misprint on the shirts?

I've known Doug and Tracy (Diving Solutions) for several years now and spent many nights aboard their boat Spellbound. Great operation. I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

Was just there Feb 23 - 27. We boarded Spellbound and stayed on the boat 5 nights (4 days of 4 dives a day)
