Welcome and hello from a former Cochran employee!

Please tell everyone I said hi.

To start things off, care to tell everyone what's going on in the current Cochran line? I know that there were some changes since I was there.

Has there been any R&D on your products recently? It seems like the EMC-20 is no different than a decade ago.

Hey, John !! Hope all is going well with you. We are now in the final stages of developing the Lifeguard series of dive computers. FAR more capability and flexibility than the EMC or Gemini products. We should be putting some information on the DiveCochran.com website soon, but it's already available on the CochranMilitary.com website. Check it out and let us know what you think !! Take care and have a great day !!

Thanks for your interest. Even though the appearance of the EMC-20 hasn't changed for quite some time, there were many updates and additions to the algorithm and firmware to enhance the performance through the years. We are currently in the final stages of development for the Lifeguard series of dive computers. While there is not much information on our main website (DiveCochran.com) about the Lifeguard yet, there are a lot more details posted on our military computer (CochranMilitary.com) website. Please feel free to check out the new dive computers and we would appreciate it if you gave us your thoughts. Have a great day !

Hi John, my name is David.

This is a long (very long!) shot I know but as a former employee of Cochran you may be able to help, offer suggestions or point me to someone else.

I own of legal copy of the Analyst 3.08 software that I purchased on mini CD from Cochran back in 2014 and I want to try and use it with someone's Gemini Plus dive computer. The problem I have is that every time it is installed, or re-installed, on a PC an activation code is required. When Cochran were in business this was not a problem as I would provide them with information that the PC generated, together with information about the Analyst purchase, and they would send me the activation code (which always worked I have to say). Obviously with Cochran no longer being in business since 2018 I don't have access to this service.

Do you know of any way that the Software can be installed on an old Windows 98 PC without the need for an activation code every time?

Regards, David.
