I have a ScubaPro Stek Pro with a single tank adaptor. Trying to find out how much lead equivalent I am diving with. Surprisingly hard to find out online.

S tek backplate, is about 5 lb, the STA is aluminum but add that and the hardware you probably end up with a total of -6 lb .

If your moving from a b/c you can count on that having been 2 to 4 pounds positive.

So your lead may be reduced by 5 to 10 lb, start at 5 and do an empty tank (500 psi) weight check and remove a little at a time to find the right amount.

Thanks. I subtracted 6 last dive and was still a bit heavy. That explains it.

Easy to find on ScubaPro website.....

The S-Tek Pro comes with *either* an aluminum OR stainless steel backplate. Which one do you have?
Weight of SS backplate & Pro harness = 7.19 lbs (3.26 kg)
Weight of Aluminum backplate & Pro harness = 4.54 lbs (2.06 kg)
***This is exclusive of the wing & STA***
