It's a 6351 and my LDS can do the eddy current. An extra $25 for the NDT every 5 years is negligible. I actually am more likely to not use it due to the buoyancy characteristics and the need to put a new valve on it than because of the inspection requirements from the alloy. The reason i haven't gotten it hydroed so far has more to do with not being sure it offers much over the steel 72 i already dive.
The 6351 tanks are completely legal and work fine, they just require an additional inspection every 5 years. i don't know why people think they are scrap.
