Ok...
Recently completed my OW, during which I was weighted with 10Kg wearing standard tank, 7mm semi-dry in fresh water.
The instructors asked for our body weight prior to the dive and applied a rough calculation
I also did a trial dive abroad .. no wet suit, salt water and needed 5/6 Kg.
Is there a standard calculation based on body weight for diving in both salt and fresh water with a wet/semi-dry suit.
I know I need 10Kg's in fresh water with a semi-dry, so what % increase in weight should I apply for the same gear in salt water?
Sorry if this subject has been covered before, but i'm a bit new to all this and would appreciate any info to use as a starting point.
Regards,
Dirk
