Hey Billy, I'm really sorry to hear about your finger. I can only imagine your having fun showing it to everyone. Especially those you find annoying. I guess you must be better under water with a knife, else Ken got really lucky that day at Deer Creek.

Hey Robert glad to hear you're thinking of doing your first night dive with us! It's really not that much different from a day dive. You'll notice that each dive site takes on a whole new face at night, pretty cool stuff.

Kalani, got any ideas for locales? We had a blast at Leo last week even after getting attacked by killer smelt when surfacing at the end of the dive. So is there anywhere that you have wanted to night dive at that you have yet to hit up?

Well, I guess I'll be surface support for this week's Weekly Malibu Night Dive. I had a run-in with a paring knife and an avocado last night that left a 1/2" gash in my newly splinted middle finger. At least no one can get mad at me because I gave them the bird.

Let's see, what are our options? Frankly, I haven't been diving in very many Malibu locations, other than Pt. Dume a bunch of times. I've only been to G-City at night, and I've been to Malibu Rd. and Corral Cyn (once each) during the day. Never been to Deer Creek or any of these other locations I keep hearing about, so I'm open to options.

What would you recommend?

I think Ana wanted to join us, as well, btw. Who all is coming, just me, perhaps Ana, perhaps Robert, and Billy for surface support?

Right now deer creek should be pretty cool, maybe the north stairs. Or we could do Leo again, that was a fun dive and pretty easy. Or we could always go back to G-City. For some reason that dive never gets old, I always see new stuff there.

I wasn't a fan of Leo the first time. Second time I fell in love with it.

Deer Creek sounds good to me, let's say 7:30. I know john wants to actually see some reef so I think we can almost guarantee that will happen at DC Road.

For this dive we'll do the normal staircase. We can do the north Staircase next week if the conditions pan out.

Just saw the pictures. So, park on PCH and then down the stairs and into the water? Looks like fun! I'll be there!

Hey Robert, this is a super easy walk, just down the stairs and smack into the water. There are a lot of reefs and critters at this location, you guys will have a blast. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.
