Hey everyone, last week we had another successful Weekly Malibu Night Dive. Let's see if we can keep this winning streak going. Leo was awesome, who's got an idea for another spot? Maybe somewhere never dove before? We've been seeing a lot of good sized bugs lately so if you wanna get in on this bug-exploration action, I highly suggest you join us. Plus I like to think that we're pretty good company and welcome anyone who would like to get in some night diving.

I'm in! Had a FANTASTIC dive today at Deer Creek. I know you guys have done Deer Creek a few times lately, so howzabout Gorgonian City?

I haven't had the energy for weeknight dives lately. I've been having a hard time getting enough sleep, since I started working full-time again two weeks ago. After 2 1/2 years of working freelance, doing much of my best work at 2 in the morning, it has NOT been easy getting into the 8-to-5 gig. But I'm doing better, and ready to start weeknight dives again. I hope lots of you come out this week! I'm looking forward to putting faces to all of the names in here.

What time do you guys usually get there? Are you doing one or two dives? I'll pack my car Tue. night and leave from work right at 5pm.

Hey Robert glad to hear you're thinking of doing your first night dive with us! It's really not that much different from a day dive. You'll notice that each dive site takes on a whole new face at night, pretty cool stuff.

Kalani, got any ideas for locales? We had a blast at Leo last week even after getting attacked by killer smelt when surfacing at the end of the dive. So is there anywhere that you have wanted to night dive at that you have yet to hit up?

Well, I guess I'll be surface support for this week's Weekly Malibu Night Dive. I had a run-in with a paring knife and an avocado last night that left a 1/2" gash in my newly splinted middle finger. At least no one can get mad at me because I gave them the bird.

This stinks. Why does this keep happening to me? Once again, I am forced to drop out of one of Billy's weekly Malibu dives. This is starting to get ridiculous. This time it's the in-laws...out of the blue, they've decided to drop by on Wed. night, as they're going to be passing through the area. And naturally, being the good daughter-in-law, I'm expected to cook dinner for them.

Gee...diving, or dinner with the in-laws? Which would you pick?? Sadly, I don't have a freaking CHOICE!

I would say I promise to be there next week, but at this rate nobody would believe me...

Billy, sorry to hear about your run-in with an avocado. Hope you are back in the water soon. Oh, and regarding the killer smelt -- is THAT what was jumping all over us last night during our loooong surface swim back to the cove at Leo? They were CRAZY!

Yeah I know, it is starting to look like that, isn't it.

Well, I've told the fam that there is NOTHING that will keep me from going out next Wed. I don't care if the freaking PRESIDENT is coming over for dinner -- they can get KFC for all I care. I'm going diving!
