Well, i had another OW class this weekend, and we headed off to Royal Spring on Saturday with 8 students. WHen we got there and first took a look at the water, it wasnt looking good, greenish, not much viz, so my DMiT and I jumped in and freedove down. It cleared up after about 5-10ft, then seemed about 30ft at the bottom. I thought itd be easier with 2 groups, so I brought in 4 students and headed down. Being new they of course had some issues with stirring up, but it wasnt too bad. We got one dive in. The next groups had lower viz, but we got another dive in. After that viz just kept getting bad, so we didnt do much else and called it a day.

Sunday, we headed to Morrison, and tried to get there early to avoid the crowds. Too bad everyone had that idea, because at 8am local time, there were 50 divers in the water. We managed to work around them, for a bunch of dives in, and everyone else left by about noon, leaving us to some clearing viz. Then the locals showed up, but whatever. I spent about 8 hours in the water. Yawn!

Thanks for sharing the pics.

I remember doing my check outs at Morrison, on that log....w/Ray B. Does he still teach there at Blue Water?
