I have added some images from this weekend's dives to the AUE website. Nothing too exciting, just some laid-back shallow dives on the MERCEDES, TENNECO, etc. It was interesting to note that even though seas were flat, water was clear, and lobster season was on, there were relatively few boats out on the water. Wonder if gas prices are impacting people's activities?
Anyway, enjoy the images...

Wow, last time I dove the Mercedes was the early 80s when she was basically upright and intact.

Damn hurricanes.

Great pics! I know a lot of guys that are not going out as much because of gas prices.

What's wrong with those divers? They are all "laying down" in the water.

Not a thing, my friend. They are excellent examples of trim & bouyancy. These guys do more dives that people only read and dream about than some folks do recreational dives in their certified lifetime!

Check out Mike's Book, Shipwrecks of the Sunshine State - you'll drool!

Wow,

I guess you guys thought I was serious... Sorry about that. CBulla, I bought Mike's book last year, am on his mailing list, and am STILL kicking myself for not going diving with them last month but the first slated dive was beyond my level. Oh well, maybe another time.

Mike sure gets to do some fun dives though. Lucky SOB! :)
