I know I've probably posted too many pics on this theme, but I wanted to show a kind of anemone that lives on some oil rigs off the Louisiana coast. They're collectively called "Light Bulb Anemones", but no formal taxonomy has been done on many of them, and some are probably un-named by science. They're about the size of an old silver dollar and they often live in colonial groups.
