(not that there is anything wrong with that)JeffG:A test to see if I watch Seinfeld?
Rick Inman:Anyway, the new webbing is much more pliable, which makes it easier to escape from my kit without the QR, but also makes the D rings all loosey-goosey, not firmly in place like they were in my old webbing. This makes clipping off a bit more difficult.
Any opinions on the firm vs. the lose webbing?
I donno, but mine is just a bit stiffer than the crotch strap stuff, and my D rings do flop around. And yes, the D rings are on properly according to my DIRF instructor.Xanthro:I don't understand. I have the "H" webbing, and couldn't make a D-Ring move without a ton of effort.
Has it become stiffer or are there different stiffness available?

I can still clip off, I just prefer the firmer stuff.
Does your H webbing actually have blue H's on it?Xanthro:That's weird. The crotch strap stuff is, ... now how exactly does one finish this sentence without being open to ridicule, can't use soft, or not hard or firm, or won't stand up.
Anyway, my H webbing is almost too stiff. I had a difficult time with adjusting the webbing because I can't get the slides to move.
I'm thinking there must be different stiffness to them. On mine a good 18inch section held at one end will not bend over held horizontally.
