your club needs a webmaster to take care of your upcoming web page. Please decide and PM me with the name(s) that will be handling this. Please see Server Update for more info.

What is required?

What should the new webmaster know how to do?

The post about the new migration isn't clear to me as to what is needed.

we want the individual clubs to come up with WHO is going to be their webmasters. IOW, you have to vote on this as we will not do this by "decree". After that, it's up to each club how they utilize their space.

There will be a semi-private forum for the Webmasters to meet, discuss issues and ask questions.

Commercial entities should note that this is not to be used to further your business plans.

what type of items are you looking for someone to run the websites for the clubs ? also what technologies will be available to the webmasters ?

I would be willing to help with the site or to work the site with someone else.

Looks like this is something the Swampers need to decide on. Do we even want a website? Fetch has had a basic TSDT website up for several months but I don't think it's been used very much, we do all our 'business' here on the board. It's up to ya'll!

I've got some time to do this but I'm definately no webmaster. I can do some VERY basic HTML but that about it.

ScubaTooth has shown some interest, who else? Do we have some hidden web guru out there??

I'm all for ScubaTooth, in fact, I'll second the nomination...

I've done my fair share of coding over time and the idea of webmastering this page interests me, but I'm simply not dependable.... :)

Wow, congrats on the upgrade.

I'm not nearly active enough to be a webmaster for the club (which is why I wanted to give someone access to the ScubaPages.net site :) ), but if whoever gets decided will PM me, I'll be happy to send along what files I have, in the hopes that they will be useful on an official site, as well.

Zag....Mike doesn't stay around long enough to be dependable for such an undertaking. He comes on, telling everyone he's back then 2 days later he gone and we don't see him again for 6 months. I think we need someone who on the board a little more often than that!!
