This is the beginning of my favorite time of year for Roatan and the Bay Islands.

It's getting warmer and less rainy every day. The water temps are rising. Lots of little stuff in the water column attracting bigger stuff.

I like this period that runs through August, lots to see u/w.

I also posted this to help make that other locked thread go away.

I agree...we got home today and it was an awesome couple of weeks. The only exception was the wind - it blew like CRAZY out of the east almost the whole time we were there. It was so rough that a cruise ship had to abort its port call in Roatan one day.

We had a GREAT time and I will be sure to write a trip report. It was so amazing that I don't exactly know where to start!

The water temps surprised me...it's still 79/80 degrees

Glad to hear it Doc. We touch down in 32 days

I agree about this year's water temps.... was diving from West End April 19 to May 4, 2014 and it was a little chilly, still. Was OK with a 1 mil shorty, but it wasn't bathwater.

Looks like there will be some.

Yep.

It's sunny and breezy these days. Maybe some showers but maybe not when you're here. I don't think we have any big weather moving in or anything but I'm only as accurate as the weatherman :p
