Weather and Dive Conditions in San Carlos

The Tuns can be found at many dive spots around San Carlos. I've collected them at Las Palmas, Isla Venado, San Antonio Point, and Isla Venado. They are edible.

How does one get the stinky stuff out of a large Hun?

First, pull out as much as you can. Then, put it in a sealed container with enough bleach in it to totally cover it and let it sit for about 48 hours. Rinse, and repeat, if necessary. When it's finally clean, rub baby oil into the shell. Redo the baby oil treatment about every six months.

How were the conditions??? Air temp, water temp, vis?

We weren't there, but they posted 82 water 70-80ft vis. We'll be there in 2 weeks, hopefully the hammers will still be around.
