SY has an ability... I don't know if its a special ability, or a 'special' abilty... No matter what, he can take a picture of me, and make me look stoned.

PerroneFord:
There is something VERY odd about this photo...

The flooding mask was replaced on the second dive with a spare he brought - way to go!

He's still got Padi-itis. I didn't have a chance to tell him about the snorkel-ectomy. It's OK to be on the right instead of the left because it gets in the way no matter where it's put :D.

The beanie was a loaner - I look good in it!

The bubbles come out on both sides on purpose - this is a wide exhaust for photogs (PHD wouldn't know about things like that :D)

Rental BC with no clips = no place but under the shoulder strap and out the front. Didn't dangle as bad as it looks in the pic.

All in all, not bad for his first 2 dives and having rental gear :thumb:.

Thanks for the explanation SeaYoda...guess it was hard for them to see a guy on his first post-certification dive have it so together! Oh well, getting back with air and not sinking like a rock were my main objectives. I pool tested my new gear today. Let's go again so you can get a new picture with that!

Here are the pictures:

Somehow, this photo looks "Photoshopped" I don't believe GlenFWB really exists, It looks like you pasted some random head on some wetsuit listing from a catalog (so we didn't recognize the model), and pasted the whole thing.

Y'all wouldn't playing tricks on the SB folks, now would you?

I won't belive it until I dive with him myself!:D

I think the beanie strap was a little tight - kinda makes it look like a head replacement :D.

Wow, I am not sure whether to be insulted or flattered....I will choose the flattered...I like the idea of being a "model". Problem with that theory is look at the gut on the guy in the wetsuit....they don't hire them kind for models!! :no

As far as not "believing till you dive with him" my only statment is...tell me where and when! I got new gear since that picture was taken and I am chomping at the bit to go.

Okay, I gotta go....GQ magazine is on the phone trying to line up a photo shoot....I sure hope it isn't modeling speedos this time.:11:

I guess it was a little tight but it sure kept the head warm...it is evident that I don't dive for style so I appreciate the loaner no matter how bad it looked. Then again SeaYoda, I have been thinking...was that loaner beanie a "let's set the new guy up" deal? You know, us newbies are pretty gullible. :D

I really have worn it, so no set up.

I am surprised at how you have managed to become the target of all these "friends" I told you that were good to dive with .

That's alright....bring it on. As long as I am able to dive I am happy. Besides, I am happy to give it back to them....I can give as good as I take. In fact, I look forward to it. :D
