Years ago one of my unfulfilled goals was to start a foundation called STARS (School Teachers Are Real Stars) to solicit money from grossly overpaid sports athletes and movie "stars" to give monetary awards to school teachers who had demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring their students.

I dream of a utopian world also where we take care of our mentally ill, our poor, our destitute. . .
