our trip to Panama City Beach so much that we are now thinking of putting together a trip to Key Largo in February.

Just wondering what the weather, seas and diving were like at that time of year in Key Largo.

Well it can be flat calm, warm, and sunny.

And it can be cold, blowing, rough as all get out, and miserable.

Last year we dived all winter and didn't really stop until we had over 50days of rain in June.

jbd, just try to keep up with any fronts headed down this way and log on to the local weather forecast.

'tho wind and waves can make the diving hit or miss (don't forget the Bonine), winter weather in the Keys is otherwise fabulous!
If your dive trip gets blown out, you can visit the Everglades or spend a day on the beach without getting carried away by mosquitos and no-see-ums. You might also enjoy the scenic drive drive from Key Largo to Key West. Water temps will likely be in the low to mid 70's.
