Watershot iPhone Housing

Has anyone used the Watershot iPhone Housing? I am looking for reviews and cannot find any. I am trying to decide whether or not to buy this or a Hero3 for my boyfriend for Christmas.
He is a total iPhone, social media junky and I am thinking he would prefer the Watershot as it would give him instant access to upload his pics to social media once he ascends, but I am just concerned about the quality of the photos with the Watershot and his iPhone getting ruined.
Thoughts anyone?
