Yup- that Oceanic housing is a sturdy, well made housing with some great features. And it's all kind of ruined by the app. Even if the app worked perfectly, the fact that they want to charge you a hefty monthly fee to enable some pretty basic functionality for something you just spent over $400 to buy is freaking theft. I can see charging for the app if you want to use your Apple Watch as a dive computer. But Oceanic is really double dipping selling you the housing, then charging you to make it work right.
