Alright, I dive a DUI 400 gram undergarment now, and im wanting to get a newer one because im growing out of it. (Yes, I'm getting fat) It was always tight to start, but it's starting to show its wear.

i want to support my LDS and get a waterproof

I want to hear from people diving the Body2X. I see from the webpage that they have a 665 one-piece, and I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with them. One of my dive buddies dives the Nord X and loves it. I just wanted to see if anyone had some input.

I know that the Nord X is 300g and the Body2X is 665 g. I dive year-round in the PNW, and diving in the mid-30s (F) is not out of the realm. im thinking the 665 would be nice for the wintertime, and the Nord X would cover me the rest of the time

Thank you for your input,

I use the body 2x two piece.
I used it with a (crushed) neoprene suit last winter, but switched to trilaminate so have't tried that yet.
However in the neoprene suit the body 2X keeps you warm enough for at least an hour in 5C water.
Did a day of ice diving (30 min. dives) with it ass wel.
Not sure how it will be in my trilaminate coming winter.

I use a Nord x 300 as the outer layer with a Brynje full body undergarment that is a mix of synthetic mesh and wool cover.

Have used this in cold Scandinavia water and happy with the results. I do however also use a heated vest for the coldest of days.

Have you tested the Nord x 300? Because it’s a bulky boy, a lot more isolation then the body 2x; isolation is not just gram weight of fibers alone 😅

Thank you all for the input. I currently drive a DUI 450 and am becoming accustomed to its bulkiness; I kind of like the one-piece design. im leaning towards the Nordx unless I can get my hands on the body2x to compare side by side.

ill try to report back once i start diving what i get
