I have been in Monterey more weekends than not for the past two months. Water temps have been hovering between 51-55 with 51-53 much more common. Last weekend I was off the northern part of marin and water temps were at 59-60 all day long no matter where we went in the boat. I checked the bouy information and it seems that monterey is also up to 60ish. So did we have yet another flip? Is the water nice and warm again? (Florida and other warm water divers will have an infarction at that last line)

Great news, it's getting warm and toastie heh?

WE're diving Carmel tomorrow and this weekend. If I get a chance I'll update you with temp at depth (and viz) tomorrow afternoon. Right now surface temp is 57 though.
