Video is valid. The oxygen safe grease is great for using with Nitrox, but regular silicone will be fine with air.If you have just noticed the moisture in the SPG, finish your dive trip with it and not worry too much. If on your average dive you use 2000 psi of gas, then notice your are surfacing with a 1000 psi the SPG is probably starting to go. Or if you start out the dive with 0 psi the SPG is probably dead.
When you get home visit your local dive shop and buy a new gauge. Ask the tech there to show how to install it. But here again are the instructions (though for a spool)
How much, just enough to make the O-rings glossy but little enough you don't see globs. You want the O-ring to slide, but not blowing globs of grease through the hole.
Tighten, notice he barely put any effort into it. little more than finger tight. Enough it won't come loose. It is not a high stress connection, the O-ring holds the pressure. A one finger pull on the end of the wrench will be enough.
