get a life, and learn how to quote. Hypocrite.

Hypocrite? You'll have to explain that one. As for quoting, since I've clearly quoted properly a number of times, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to discern a simple slip of the keyboard.

MikeFerrara:
I think he's saying that he wouldn't be surprised if you skill in the water was on par with your knowledge of the physical principles involved.

And that the gaps in said knowledge and skill may not become apparent until the worst possible moment. If I discovered that I was lacking in a central component of Module 1 OW knowledge, I'd be very concerned what other basic diving essentials I'd missed, and when something
might happen that would require what I was missing.

H2Andy:
awesome!

say... we must invite dweeb along, but we won't let him dive
with us until he recites PADI Module 1 by heart.... he
gets 3 mistakes as freebies if he pays $10.00 extra, or ten mistakes if he pays $30.00 extra

dweeb, whatcha say? :eyebrow:

I'm not the one who's demonstrated not knowing it.

quick, then: what's the fourth word on the fourth sentence on the fourth pargraph on page 4?

H2Andy:
well.. you could just carry SALT, since salt by itself must have a higher salinity
that salt diluted by water. of course, you'd have to carry the salt in water-proof containers or the salt would
then leak out and stuff...

It would have to be a block of salt, because otherwise the voids between particles would be filled with....air.

H2Andy:
i just love science

Better you stick to Law.

Afraid_of_Fish:
You just opened up a whole new can of worms for dweeb to call you on lolz.

Except I'll be a bit gentler this time.

dweeb:
Better you stick to Law.

dang it... that's what the guy on the Psychic Hotline told me too... must be some truth to it

H2Andy:
dweeb, i think there might be a future for us after all...

You guys need to get a room.....

And dweeb needs a holiday. You been on vacation yet this year dweeb?

BTW Andy, you've impressed me immensely with how you've handled yourself having asked what was probably that dumbest question ever asked by an experienced diver.... Personally I would have crawled under a rock and died from embarrassment; after, of course, creating a new name so dweeb couldn't find me.... LOL

think of the millions we could make if we make this water weight thing work!

also, i must say, being embarrased for asking a question
is only for those who have an ego or a reputation to maintain.

i'm quite happy being myself and asking the questions that
pop into my head so that i may learn...no matter how dumb
someone may think me or the question

dweeb, stop drooling on my shoes

Well..... I don't have a reputation that I'm aware of but my ego....oh my ego..... LOL

I can't imagine going through life egoless.....don't you feel numb most of the time then?
