That Canadian diver Alexandre Di…… (I don't remember how to spell it) fills out his speedo nicely

It seems to me that most of the guys I see, who wear the briefs (Speedo is a brand of swim apparel & accessories, not a style of suit) should be wearing long baggy swim trunks. And it's always the hot young guys, who should be in the briefs, who are in those long baggy surfer style shorts.

HolaPulpito:
Besides those heels just make us look so adorable they're worth the blisters :)

I hope I know you when you're 46...

I'm fine with Speedos, even on those guys who don't look like Michael Phelps. I figure if they have the confidence to wear it, go for it. Me, I wouldn't be caught dead in a bikini (too much adipose tissue, hence lack of bikini confidence), but I don't have problems with the ones who wear them either. Except Demi Moore, that b**ch.

Speedos are actually quite package-enhancing, in most cases. I think that the reason some women get freaked out about them is that they look kinda like a woman's bikini (which is what we're used to in the U.S., not men's bikinis). Also, the visual can cause us the same feelings that you guys get when looking at women- sometimes you can be blindsided by blatant sexuality, and feel that sudden rush. Perhaps that's what some women mean when they say they feel "uncomfortable." LOL.

No, but thank you for mentioning it, it gave me a nice distraction...

I never looked like Demi. The closest I came to looking like a movie star would be Beverly D'Angelo or Valerie Perrine. In my prime. Oh wait! I'm in my prime now! Dangit, why doesn't a woman's prime happen until everything's working it's way south? No fair. ;)

But I suppose getting pneumonia and encephalitis in the same week isn't very fair either... sheesh.

I'm not gonna wear one, Foo. Package-enhancing is ok, but the problem is that they also enhance my 42 year old gut, and that I DON'T need....LOL

Sorry but the mental picture on that was not pretty. lol

Speedos dont look good on everyone, you find that out very quickly in Australia lol id rather just see thorpe, phelps and hoogenband in one and leave it at that :)

If your stomach obscures the speedo, it's time to wear something else.

A bit of ancient history; I used to work for a certain Asian embassy in DC. During the 1984 Olympics in LA, all the ladies there were in awe of the Chinese male gymnasts..,
