I know that a lot of instructors can be tempted to 'push hard' so that student's complete the CESA on their first attempt - thus minimizing the number of ascents that the instructor has to 'endure' on any given day. I don't agree with that...

Ive seen that quite a lot. Generally i try to do CESA on OW2. That leaves OW3 and 4 free if they screw it up. Fairly essential if you have more than 1 or 2 people on the course as well.

Really cant wait for this ancient relic of a practice to go the way of the dinosaurs.
 
Watch out with DCS man ! Make sure you dive conservatively - which means you stay clear of deco limits on your tables and respect other DCS prone factors.
