Have you any good suggestions for warm water gloves?

These will be for protection only (wrecks, up lines), not for warmth, so they don't have to be made of neoprene.

They will be used on a dive trip with lots of diving so I'd like something that can dry quickly. In an old thread someone said they like cotton work gloves but I think they would take too long to dry and putting gloves on sopping wet sounds like a drag.

Thanks
Steve

I've been using DeepSea's sport gloves for a couple of years now. They're not too warm, and dry overnight. They also have white suede palms, so hand signalling is clearer than black gloves. I couldn't find a direct link from Aqualung's website, so here's one from LP's site.

Considering cotton work gloves can be found for all-but-free, maybe just pick up half a dozen pairs?

I've used waterski gloves, myself.

I've used these: http://www.palmflex.com/atlas/300.htm for commercial work as well as wreck diving. They take a beating and are cheap. Usually around 5 bucks a pair at commercial fishing suppliers.

Kevlar knit gloves dry quickly and are pretty tough.
