Wanted: Great dive locations in March/April with fishing

I'd like to take a one week trip this March or April to a GREAT warm water dive location that also has great fishing for my travel companion. He wants to boat and possibly shore fish while I want to dive as much as possible (I even love night dives or shallow shore dives in addition to boat dives). Traveling from California by frequent flier miles and we're thinking someone in Central America or if need be, Mexico (not preferred, but willing to consider). Obviously, with only a week I prefer shorter travel time to maximize dive time. I have about 200 dives in the past 20 years with experience in wrecks, lava tubes, strong currents, etc. Diving (marine life) and fishing quality take priority over lavish resorts and night life. Ask any questions, I'd like to plan this trip soon. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Belize and Roatan come to mind. Lots of fishing tournaments in these areas~ that has to mean something. (Costa Rica also has such tournaments, but overall, not such good diving)

I agree with Doc on the destinations...I am thinking Belize...yhey have flats fishing as well as boat fishing.....diving is mostly done from a boat here are a couple of places Belize Scuba Diving & Flats Fishing | Turneffe Island Resort | Vacation in Belize
