Hey Pete,

Saw this at Flipper's. Not associated, but figured I'd pass it along.
Happy diving!

That's an OKAY price so long as the "new battery" is all it needs.
I paid a bit less than that for a 1200 with dashboard shipped which also needed a battery.

The 3.1 upgrade isn't cheap....

Not to be pedantic, but its a 'warp core' upgrade that makes it equivalent to a 2.1, but with an old style (6 pin) charger

The difference between a 2.1 and a 3.1 is the motor itself, 3.1 is a little quieter and more efficient - both have warp cores (and new 4 pin charging connectors) however

With that being said, I saw an invoice for a recent warp core upgrade and it was >=$4k

I thought the motors were the same and just the controller was upgraded to a sine wave/FOC unit?

You may very well be right, but I thought part of the reason for the 2.1 vs 3.1 distinction was supply chain issues for the motors themselves?

@Jon Nellis may we ask for some clarification please?
