This is my backplate.

There are many like it, but this one is MINE.

My backplate is human, even as I, because I need a life.

Thus, I will learn it as a brother I wish I had.

I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories,
its denier strenght, and its inflator.

For Philippines diving I'd get the Pioneer instead of the Eclipse. Same as Eclipse but bladderless so it's more streamlined, less drag. Not as rugged but for the average diver it should hold up just fine. For someone who dives a lot, like a DM or instructor, I guess the outer shell-inner bladder design of Eclipse type wings is better.

Actually, for Philippines diving exclusively I'd get the tiny Oxycheq Mach V Razor 18# wing (bladderless); that's all you need with a 3mm wetsuit.
