STOGEY:For those of you that do have wet sits, what is the thickness of your wet sit. Mine is 7mm thick so it should keep me pretty warm. However, I am pretty tolerant of the cold.
decapoddiver:Anyone can get in for the first dive. It's the BT and surface interval that really hurts. My new rule is drysuit only on my boat after October. I came close to having a wetsuit wearing popsicle onboard after the 10 minute run back in.

STOGEY:I tell ya for a bunch of old salts this is a pretty good site.
jchaplain:Even on my boat where I have full camper canvas, boating this time of year isn't good. It gets too darn cold when you have to pull the anchor or dock the boat, and we all know the dangers of hypothermia and bad decisions when you're too cold and uncomfortable.
