Does anyone know if the dive boat named Dry Martini is still in operation in Fort Lauderdale??

Sorry to tell you that, to the best of my knowledge, Walt has retired. I heard that he was having some health probs and, of course, the hurricanes last year helped noone out. Altho, I must give Walt many props. He ran a great dive boat for many years and his incredibly funny dive briefs will not soon be forgotten.
Walt, if yer reading this, thanks for many years of the best South Florida boat diving to be had...We luv ya!!!

Sorry to hear that Walt has retired. I did the last of my OW checkout dives off of his boat, and quite a few dives thereafter. As far as his dive briefs, I still get a chuckle out of "You will experience the agony of de feet".

That's a bummer. I never had the opportunity to dive with him. A friend from up north wanted to take me on his boat. There's still a website but most of the links are not working and nobody returns msgs left at the number listed.
